Hi,

I am working on ASP.Net application. I facing problem in IE title bar.

Let me explain the scenario. My web application works fine and it shows title perfectly in title bar.

Now I stop the IIS and I run my application, I get cannot find server page and the title show Can not find server in title bar.

Again I start the IIS and press F5 to refresh. My application starts work fine but the title still shows cannot find server.

Could you please advise me how to solve this issue? Is it IE error or do we have any fix for this.

I am eagerly waiting for your reply.

Regards,
OMAR

Solution: Don't restart IIS.

Sounds like an IE cache related error to me. I wouldn't worry about it.

Might not be a way around it. This might work though (in the head):
<script type="text/javascript">
document.title='bleh'
</script>or put the above code at the end of the body, just before </body> or use this (below) in the body tag itself as:
<body onload="document.title='bleh'">if you already have onload events in the body tag use:
<body onload="existingevent;document.title='bleh'">if you have window.onload=something on the page, find something() and make it the first line there:
function something(){
document.title='bleh';Oh, and change bleh to the title you want displayed.
