HELP!!! font help (probably simple)

im a designer and im working on a layout, but everytime i try to use a font tag in the div it just dosent show up! any help would greatly help .

You never close the <font> tag causing it to not work properly. The font tag is depreciated and should reference font colors using the color: property of CSS.

Very true. In your code at the top, you forgot to insert the </font> tag at the end. This is the cause of your troubles. Give Ryan the credit, cuz:

I wouldn't worry about that if I were you. If you're only posting to boost your "thanks" total, that's the wrong motive to be doing so.

I've always gone to forums with a reputation system where it showed rep given...I don't know how this one works and was just wondering if it shows. I just post here to sorta prove to myself how much I know. I like facebook, though not the new one...

It shows under the post when someone "thanks" you. There is a running tally on the front page.

But like I said, the "thanks" tally here isn't necessarily an accurate representation of how knowledgeable/helpful an individual is. There are plenty of people that help out a lot and never get "thanked". We don't really push the feature here, though it's there for those who choose to use it. I'm glad it's that way too. Those forums where people are always clamoring for reputation points are kind of tasteless, I think.

Anyway, keep up the good work. My point only was don't get discouraged if you don't get a "thanks". It's probably just because the OP doesn't know of the feature.
