I will have a budget next year to attend some trade shows / seminars and I like to know what shows/seminars DD users found worthwhile to attend.
Thanks

The only event I regularly attend is South by Southwest (http://sxsw.com/). I always find it an enjoyable and informative time.

Medyman,

I looked at it, but it's a bit over my head. It seems very much artist oriented. I am not an artist :-). But thanks anyway

Well, there are three portions of SXSW -- Interactive, Film and Music. I'm more interested with the Interactive portion which focuses on web and web technologies. You can view a list of last year's panels here (http://2008.sxsw.com/interactive/programming/panels_by_category/).

It's not a developer's conference, that's for sure. Though, there are many panels on Programming as well.

Ok, i followed your link and now it seems that this is a very interesting show. I never heard of it before, but it seems a very big show. Added to the calender.
