Random Weather Generator Script

I'm in need of a script that will generate random weather as well as moon phases. It's for two different RPG settings; one is medieval/fantasy and the other is sci-fi. I need to be able to insert the locations/names myself. And example of what I'm looking for/in need of is can be found at the Dragonlance Nexus (http://www.dlnexus.com/weather/) site.

Why does it need to be random?

Couldn't you just map one of the made up cities to a real city? Then, you can use any number of the API offered by weather services to get the weather.
