Book Flip script controlled by buttons

Hi two questions:
1. can this script use html forms in stead of images?
2. can this script b controlled via buttons?

What i need is a menu (already have that) of 5 items, each item would represent a page in the book. Once a button is pressed the page is turned displaying the relevant information.

Also The information on the page will be pulled from a database so it has to be in a html form.

Is any of this possible?

The buttons yes, but using forms rather than images will require a major rewrite.

Buttons are already a part of the author's extended version of this script:

I'm with Twey when it comes to substituting any kind of text for the images in this complex script.
