Let's give them some credit. IE8 is leaps and bounds in the right direction. Of course, they are really late with it. Also, Microsoft has unique challenges that some of the minority browser makers don't (or at least, to a smaller degree).

With that said, KILL IE6!!!

I've said it once and I'll say it again... I'm charging extra for IE6 support the second IE8 is released. You don't want to upgrade your company's computers to something other than IE6...fine by me! But, you'll pay more for it. :p

Nice idea (the 'tolerant' one, at least), but crappy browser detection. The 'non-tolerant' one can be done better and more reasonably by simply using XHTML for your site.
