Hello!

I would like to know if there's some kind of standard list somewhere that lists the fonts available to webdesigners?

I have a lot of fonts installed on my computer which I mainly use for when creating graphics and designs in, say, Photoshop, but I would like to know if there is some sort of standard list that lets me know which fonts can be read by everyone?

Fonts such as Arial and Verdana are super common, and can be viewed by all visitors on a website (as far as I know), but what other fonts are available?

Cheers,
Bassa

fonts actually depend on what the user has on their own machine...there are some generic ones that will work for everyone, they are:

serif
sans-serif
cursive
fantasy
monospace

hope this helps
