Hello,
I've been using DD since a long time but never had the pleasure of using the forums.

I'm not a pro into programming and code, so I try my best and when I fail too often, I request help.

Made my way using and applying the BBC News Ticker some time ago.
Now, I found the Reuters.com and I love it.

Tried to download it all, fix it and make it work but none.

Any idea? Was is inspired in other project?

This looks like Typing Text Script (http://dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex10/text5.htm).

And that end part must have been an image. So, try to replace highlighted


new TypingText(document.getElementById("example2"), 100, function(i){ var ar = new Array("\\", "|", "/", "-"); return " " + ar[i.length % ar.length]; });


...with <img src="URLofIMAGE" alt="this is my image">

To speed it up, try to reduce 100 from the pointed script above.
