I need your help badly?

there typically is some type of file or configuration within the program or its associated programs that will tell whatever application is trying to access it a certain code. If that code matches a list of codes produced by this checking application then the file/software/whatever is considered genuine.
The reason behind using this type of feature is because a sophisticated computer user using certain tools can actually discover the algorithm used when doing the check on installation of whether it appears to be a valid copy. Checking for genuineness typically is done by sending that registration/serial/unique code back to the original server and checking it against unique codes that were actually sent from the manufacturer.

You can tell if a program is genuine by whether or not you PAID for it. If you did not pay and the program isn't free, it is not genuine.
