AnyLink Drop Down Menu Offset/Customization

I'm trying to implement the AnyLink Drop Down Menu, but I want it to appear to the side of the anchor link, instead of below it. How do I do that?

Also, is there any way to refer to an existing CSS font class for the fonts within the menu? If not, what are the right commands to change the link color, hover color and underline, etc.?

Lastly, is it possible to create three columns of links? I have 30 links in one menu, and it would look a lot better.

Regarding the menu's CSS, to change the font for example for the links, simply manipulate the #dropmenudiv a selector:

font: bold 12px Arial;
}

for example. Unfortunately I don't see a easy way to create more than 1 column from the existing menu.
