3 PCs (all XPhome) and 1 printer... connected via a switch that's connected to a router/modem. All is working well.
I've introduced a second printer via the switch but can't get any PC to see it. I've tried running Add Printer Wizard but no joy... any ideas?
Shouldn't you rerun the master software for the swich for the printer to be recognized?

I'm sure that the switch didn't have any software!!!
yes you got me puzzled there as I never have seen a swich with a printer interface. At least not a non-dedicated one. That's why i think it's a router. So you never installed drivers for your printer? The first one.

The 3 PC's and one HP P2015n (http://www.twenga.co.uk/prices-LaserJet-P2015n-HEWLETT-PACKARD-Laser-printer-49392-0) printer work fine connected via a Netgear FS108 8-Port Ethernet Switch (http://www.twenga.co.uk/prices-FS108-NETGEAR-Network-hub-44226-0) which is connected to a BT Voyger 2100 (http://www.shop.bt.com/ProductView.aspx?Quicklinx=3TYT)router. I've now introduced a second HP P2015n (http://www.twenga.co.uk/prices-LaserJet-P2015n-HEWLETT-PACKARD-Laser-printer-49392-0) printer, so the drivers are already loaded but I can't find see it in the network.
I see now. None of the two devices support printers. I assume you installed the 2nd printer on the same pc as the first?? Is the second printer also shared?

So you have both printers connected to the same switch, and only one can be found?

Just remove 1st printer and attached 2nd printer on the 1 st printer if its work fine so its your network problem so plz check your ip config
I think the objective is that he wants both printers
