Manual Scroller Question

I've installed the Manual Scroller (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/manualscroll.htm) script into my website, and everything seems to be working fine aside from the fact that it won't scroll down when I click the scroll down link.
The only things I changed was I made each text link into a picture, the height and width, and a color or two. So I was wondering if anybody knew..um..how to get it work ^^;.

It's the beginning of a poem on the left with the up/down arrows and stop sign.

There are at least 5 other scripts running on that page. Generally we do not support having more than 1 script on a page as this takes a lot of time to rectify, please refer to the forum stickies.
