So I'm a "Senior Coder" now... When's graduation?

LOL

An inaccurate system actually. Some complete idiot could go on here, ramble on for 400 posts, pretending he knows something, then say he's a "senior" coder.

I'm not trying to say that you aren't though, haha :D.

LOL, you're right (i think). Someone could very easily just go through the entire forum and say "thank you" to every single solitary post and very quickly become an "elite" coder.

However, I have not done that... (i don't think)

I kinda like being a junior coder. Makes me feel younger :p

@Nightfire
Sorry, nevermind.

Congratulations Nyne. Apparently, whatever posted in the lounge is not counted.

BTW, Welcome Nightfire, glad to see you hanging here (too).

Yea, I found that out a while back. I had made several posts in the lounge, but my post count hadn't changed... It makes sense though, I mean... We're not really posting anything "worthwhile" in the lounge.

Lol, true. It's a good system. If your rank is affected by what you post in the "real" forums, then it should be half decently accurate.

MBURT, you're completely right!
Anyhow, a person who gets his self-esteem out of his DD-ranking as a coder is someone rather pathetic. (That goes for the ladies too: I used 'his' for humans in general).

Man, who beat you up and stole your lunch money today? I don't see any reason to be so negative/derogatory. I was simply making light of the fact that I moved up a rank (in a sarcastic way). LOL

Hey 9lives, I didn't mean to be negative at all! I simply agreed with what MBURT said, and added a little sarcasm. But I think I didn't express myself as gently as I ment to. Must be my English (which is not my language).:)

they would get banned about as fast as they became an "elite" coder too

LOL, no problem. It's sometimes hard to judge someone's meaning just by reading what they say. I guess it has something to do with the fact that there is no body language and/or tone of voice...
