I want to mask the URL displayed on the ADDRESS BAR how can I do like that? Say.. I want to redirect the domain name ABC.COM to say XYZ.COM but I want to show the URL ABC.COM on the ADDRESS BAR instead of XYZ.COM. Plase help me...

You'll have to use javascript to work on this masking!

There are no methods I can think of that would work with the exception of using a frameset, but even this is poor practice. Not sure why you would want to do something like that, but in my personal opinion, this is not a good idea.

This is known as URL redirection (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/URL_redirection) and it's more of a DNS or server administration question than a programming one. I wouldn't know about it except I had to use it recently. The service I used for it was DynDNS (http://www.dyndns.com/services/webredirect/), which is free.

URL redirection as far as Im aware is exactly that, from one url to another (pages can be included aswel on some server setups) masking is the process of the url path being masked, this is basically on/off but bare in mind that some hosts turn this off and unless the domains belong to the same host then I believe it has a huge problem in keeping the mask active. I wouldnt know all the server files to modify but Im sure thats what your after. Other than that, well a link would work if you want to update the url path in the browser.
