Ajax Modal Window dissapears on submit buttn

[B]I have created Ajax modal window, I have a submit button on it but when I click on the submit button the modal window dissapears so does it on refresh page.

I got this code from some website...I would like to know how to i create a modal window...which disables the parent window from scratch and it should have a submit button which should not close on clicking it unless something has been perforrmed...

I edited the code and instead of the send button i put a submit button and i click the submit button it closes..i want it to stay unless and untill something has been performed...


I tried to pass value on the submit button into the database but as soon as u click the submit button it goes away..

please help me out..I dont know much coding just wanted to have this thing for my Yellowpages website..and a social networking site I am working on.
