Thanks for the links, but still you're not explaining it well.

What's the problem? (One obvious is that the there is not text) and What's your expected output?

The error is the script or the styles? Please do elaborate further.

the missing text isnt the problem. the expected output is when you mouse over those link boxes they will roll over a different image. im not sure what is causing the error the javamenu sits on top of the rollovers and the toplevel of the menu is transparent.

thanks so much for your help

Apologies, but I don't think I see what you're seeing. Viewed on FF and IE, but can't seem to see what you were describing. I've tried to remove the flash too to see if it's placed beyond it, but I'm lost.

okay i must be pretty bad at explain but here it goes :D.

here is an example for what i want to happen.
at the moment when your cursor hits the text in the menu the rollover image returns to its original state.

Please verify the link of the image. It failed.

Do you mean the background image is suppose to change during hover? I might not take it right, but have you tried using hover pseudo on CSS? or you mean something else.

yep the background is meant to change. the rollover buttons are behind a transparent java menu. there is no css applied to those images.
