Does PHP works with Windows Hosting

Hi Friends,

I am hosting my site on Windows server and when I use .php files they do work but I am not sure that a email script works or not?

Also there are lot of features with my hosting plan which are offered with Linux hosting..so I am not sure what to do.....

plz advice...

PHP does work with Windows if it is set up on the server correctly. If you are using godaddy for your hosting, I know that they limit what functions you can use on their servers (such as the mail function). To be sure what functions are supported, talk to your webhost.

Thanx buddy I am using Godaddy's windows hosting and when I include php files in another php...they do work nicely...but since I have monthly plan so I am thinking to decide between windows or linux for long term.......

GoDaddy has somethin called Hosting connection...there are lot of things which work on linux and not windows...I am in dilema what to do now :(
