I know a little about HTML and CSS but that's about it. My church's minister wants a website where the header, left and right side bars, and the footer are static, no matter what, and a flash movie can be played in the content area. We want the content area, and thus the movie, to be the same size no matter what browser or resolution the viewer is using. I've tried several freely-available templates but can't help messing them up . Any guidance will be appreciated. Thanks!!! :)

We want the content area, and thus the movie, to be the same size no matter what browser or resolution the viewer is using.Define 'the same size'. The same size relative to what? The real world? The screen resolution? The window resolution?

Don't know. Something like a content area of 600px by 400px so, if they use a 640x480 or 1024x768 display resolution, the header, footer or columns might change in size but not the content area. I hope I explained it OK . Thanks!!!
