View Full Version : Suckerfish nav problem in Firefox

Hi

I am designing a new web site, based in Joomla CMS.

As part of this I have devised a suckerfish styled menu but using display: table and display: table cell to give me the facility to center it within the nav bar. I have implemented over rides for IE6 and IE7 to correct problems these browsers have with this system.

The system works brilliantly on my dev box when viewed in FF2 and FF3, Opera, IE6 and IE7 and Safari, however, the problems start when I load the site into my hosting account.

While FF3, Opera, IE6 and IE7 and Safari continue to display the menu without fault, FF2 randomly wraps the nav menu onto two and sometimes three lines. The problem is not permanent and I am going nuts trying to find the cause.

Any help would be appreciated.
