I have this fear that I will have this title yet, since it'll take long post before this would change (automatically). :(
Haven't there been votation for user titles with this regards?

I'll make an official announcement when all the changes have settled. "Code Monkey" is a senior rank. The order is something like: Junior Coders -> Regular Coders -> Code Monkeys -> Code Masters etc
Since the dust hasn't settled yet on all the changes, no point in me going into any details. But at this point, if you think the term "Code Monkey" is no good, you can post some alternate name suggestions for the senior member rank. :)

I see "It's good to be regular".

I confirm that it was "Senior Coder" earlier, but then it has changed.

We all like to poop when we need to. :D

Relax! A 'Code Monkey' is better than a 'Please Don't Hurt Me', but obviously not so good as having a direct line to Yoda. As you can see, at least for the time being, Yoda's my butler - go figure.
I've learned, in fact I'm still learning, it really doesn't matter what you're called. What matters is what you call forth.

Even if I'm a roaring monkey, I still bow to your wisdom John :)

I would just like to say that I hate this new ranking system, why can't it just be Newbie Coder>Regular Coder>Senior Coder>Elite Coder>Moderator.
P.S. Do I still have all the permissions as a senior coder still, even though Im now a regular coder again?

While we're on the subject, anyone else have an issue with the new "Social networking" features of the new forum? I see for example visitors can leave messages on my profile page- don't exactly see the point of that versus the pm system. Any rants and raves on the new features, please let me know, so I know which ones to disable.

I like this new system, it offers a different way of direct conversation with a user. For example, "Hey John, How ya doin',keep up the good work..." would be a good visitor message on a profile page, while "I noticied a script on your website, how can I get it to work with my website..." would be a good PM. ;)
P.S. ddadmin, I still don't like the new "ranks"...

Visitor leaving messages to us is a good feature, but I wonder, are they given notifications when their message was replied

I don't think it is something you can reply to, exactly.
It's just like a comment on something. You can add another comment, but it's not really a conversation.

I've got two rants:
The 'feature' that requires an answer to an idiot question when I search the forums without logging in is as annoying now as it was last time it was temporarily introduced.
When I'm logged in and go to move a thread, often (it seems always), I am asked to log in again. If this keeps up, I will certainly move less threads.
As to the social stuff, I don't 'get it' yet, but it looks like it might be fun for some.
