I want to be able to use one user database for several different web apps.
The thing is, they all use different DBs. I'm trying to use Joomla as the main portal site to other web apps (Limesurvey, Gallery2, etc). I want to be able to eliminate registration process for every single app, just one registration and they are set for all web apps. Maybe even automatic log on.
The question is, is it possible to get some sort of PHP "bridge" script that would use one DB to sort it out for other apps. OR would it require changes to scripts within the apps to make it use new DB?
Any help is appreciated.
