In need of free anti-spyware

Been a while since I've been online - always good to know that DD is around.
A friend is looking for "free" anti-spyware and I thought that you guys would be able to point me to the right direction.

I would suggest using spybot-search and destroy :)

Edited: i did not realise ad aware is an anti- spyware program
