1) Script Title: Swiss Army Image Slideshow

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/swissarmy/index.htm

3) Describe problem: I added the slide show to my home page. I added the photos in my images folder on the server, I uploaded the external .js file When I preview it through dreamweaver everything is working properly. When I acutally upload my index page to my server and look at the page, all you see is a space where the slide show should be. Not sure why its not showing up. Here is the link the page

http://www.djvippresents.com

can someone please help me figure out why its not working?

Here is the code I'm using

/images/Photo1.jpg is not found.

Something's wrong with your pictures. :\

If you give it time, you see some of the images actually work.

You need to make sure that the file extensions are all lower case on the server, or you can change the file paths in the slideshow script to point to the correct file. Keep in mind that file paths are case-sensitive, meaning that JPG and jpg are different files.

Hope this helps.

I went and looked and it does not come up for me at all, are you using IE7? I also doubled checked my photos and its in there, but just in case I re-uploaded. Any other ideas?

Can you please let me know if the number of pictures used in the book slideshow effects the speed?
I would like to add the maximum number of pictures allowed (or about 12) and I'm not sure if this will cause my page to be slow or if each photo is loaded as it is needed.
I would appreciate it if anyway can let me know. Thanks!

Without looking at the full script, it looks as though each image is loaded when it is needed.

However, loading them all at once will only slow the initial load time, and if you only have say, 12 images on the page total, the increased time should be minimal. This does of course depend on the size of the images.
