I'm not sure if this is possible. I suspect it is - but I don't know PHP well and I don't know how complicated it might be.

I would like to use the PHP Photo Album (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/php-photoalbum.htm) script to generate my photo gallery, and then modify the script to use lightbox (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/lightbox/index.htm)to show the images when clicked. Would it be as simple as having the PHP script add
rel="lightbox" to the links it generates (and, of course, installing the lightbox script on the page in question)? How would that be done?

Thanks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I'm sorry...! I meant to post this in the PHP forum. If it's fine to post it here, then I guess that's okay; but if not, could someone move it for me please? Thanks, and sorry again.

You are in the right forum.

Look over a few of these results:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&client=opera&rls=en&q=site%3Adynamicdrive.com%2Fforums%2Farchive+PHP+photo+album+lightbox&btnG=Search

If you still have questions, I would understand, as there have been several versions of lightbox and several approaches to combining it with PHP Photo Album. But rest assured it has been done.

I tried out the modifications described in this thread (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-10509.html), and I'm getting errors that say, "galleryarray is not defined" wherever "galleryarray" appears in the script. However, this is not part of the code that was modified. Any ideas? or something simple I'm missing?

Here (http://sandbox.arrowheadsps.org/getpic_lightbox/album.htm) is the page in question.

Thanks very much for everything so far.

WELL, I hope no one thinks I'm too dumb. I had "/gallery" written in all the file paths when the actual folder is named "/album." Jscheuer, thanks again. It works perfectly.

Samdia, please start a new thread when asking your own question about a script. BTW, PHP Photo Gallery was just updated today to make it easier to integrate with a Lightbox script.
