View Full Version : Need help with ultimate fade in slideshow

1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm

3) Describe problem: This is entirely MY fault due to total lack of scripting knowledge.:o:o (Hard to teach an old dog new tricks, but I'm trying)..

I would like to have a horizontal row of three slideshows within a table (if possible), however I don't have a clue how to do this. My attempts at even having the slideshows even with spaces between them failed miserably:(

this is my test site: http://cocosdive.bizland.com/testsite/index.htm Hopefully you can see where I've gone horribly wrong and can steer me in the right direction. I don't want to give up on this.

I'd really appreciate assistance- thanks Karen

Something like:

<body bgcolor="#990000" text="#FFFFFF">
<p align="center">TESTING SLIDESHOW</p>

<table width="1000" height="200" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2">
<tr bgcolor="#336666">
<td width="200">&nbsp;</td>
<td width="200"><div align="center"><script type="text/javascript">
new fadeshow(fadeimages, 180, 129, 0, 3000, 1, "R")
<td width="200"><div align="center"><script type="text/javascript">
new fadeshow(fadeimages2, 180, 129, 0, 4000, 1, "R")
<td width="200"><div align="center"><script type="text/javascript">
new fadeshow(fadeimages3, 180, 129, 0, 5000, 1, "R")
<td width="200">&nbsp;</td>
<p align="center">&nbsp;</p>

However, using <div align="center"> to center the slide shows in the cells may cause problems in IE. Try it and see, if not, fine. If it does, there's a way to fix it.
