3) Describe problem: I want to display more feeds in one script.


Hi there DD people, i want to ask if it's posible to put more then 2 feeds (30) in "example 2" , 6 entries.
When i put more then 2 feeds in the script, it's giving me more then 6 entries!

I really like the script but i want to put 30 feeds in that same script and it's not working..

Please help me out, i doing something wrong, but don't now what it is..

Hmm you'll need to clarify. You can have as many feeds as you wish in each script instance, with each one added using the line:


scriptinstance.addFeed("My Feed Title", "url_to_feed")

Then, the line:


scriptinstance.filterfeed(6, "label") //Show 6 entries, sort by label

controls the total number of items to show, not for each feed, but all feeds added together. If you have 5 feeds for example and entered a value of 30, roughly 6 entries per feed will be shown, together adding up to 30.

I have about 30 different feeds, only i want to show 6 entries with the newest updates on top:

Something like this:

feed-01 blah,blah,blah july 2 20:15 pm
feed-21 blah,blah,blah july 2 20:14 pm
feed-17 blah,blah,blah july 2 20:13 pm
feed-14 blah,blah,blah july 2 20:12 pm
feed-03 blah,blah,blah july 2 20:10 pm
feed-28 blah,blah,blah july 2 20:09 pm

Like a sort of aggregator, i hope you understand, thanks anyway.:)

Hmm try adding the 30 feeds using addFeed() as normal, then for the filterfeed() function, do something like:


cssfeed.filterfeed(6, "date") //Show 10 entries, sort by date

Not sure if this will work, but worth a shot.
