I was able to get this far:
I built a site using a swf file controlling an iframe in my main page.

BUT-
My text is in Hebrew and therefore all the pages "start" from right to left..but the horizontal scrollbar opens automaticly from the left..which gives the user an annoying view of an half empty page.:mad:
As you can see here:

Can anyone help me to find a way how to fix this?

Thanks a million in advance!

Have you tried adding dir="rtl" to the iframe tag or within the <html> tag of the page that you're calling within the iframe? I'm not sure if it will work. I've never really played with the text directionality attributes in HTML.

But give it a try, it might work.

At the moment, I see no scrollbar and no content in the central area.

That's because of your source code, here:

<iframe id="html_page" name="moses" frameborder=0 src="F:\simone\עבודות\adi\about_plant.html"></iframe>

That's a reference to your local drive F. Only someone with that file in that location on their local drive F will see it.

Medyman-
Thanks- I tried your suggestion, but it didn't help!

John-
Thanks-
I fixed the reverence you mentioned..Now, the page opens to the "homepage" inside the iframe, which has NO horizontal scrollbar. But as soon as you click on the buttons on the right side of the page(the light yellow or green ones on dark green background), the scrollbar appears.( NOT all of the pages are uploaded to the web..i put it there only temporary with some webpages -just so one can see my problem)

Any suggestions how to solve this?

Thanks in advance!

I see it with the scrollbar starting from the right, so it seems fine ?

I see it with the scrollbar starting from the right, so it seems fine ?
Not really-
I'm talking about the HORIZONTAL scrollbar, which appears after you click on the second green button on the right hand side.
It still appears all the way scrolled to the left..and therefore show only about a half of the text in the iframe..

Any idea how to solve this?
Maybe a way to define the html. page inside the iframe with a certain width?
Or to "command the scrollbar to start from the right side of the iframe???

Pleeeeease!!!:eek:

On your about_me.html page, you have many <dl> elements nested within each other, most of which have a 30pt left margin (I think it's their default margin-left value, I couldn't find the style affecting this). You could add as shown:

<STYLE TYPE="text/css">
<!--
TD P { color: #447b24 }
P { color: #447b24 }
TD P.style7 { color: #6781bc }
TD P.style6 { color: #ccf187 }
TH P { color: #447b24 }
A:link { color: #fd7e00 }
dl {
margin-left:0!important;
}
-->
</STYLE>

to your existing style section. But it would probably be better to reorganize the page so that it doesn't have so many nested <dl> elements on it.
