Hi,
I posted this in another section of the site before I found this sorry.
I'm looking for a template or maybe some simple code to make an online photo gallery like this:
http://www.paulvanroekel.nl/picasa/polaroiddemo/
I wold use this template but I don't like the polaroid image, and I can't change it.
Thanks

Not sure if you're aware of this or not, but that gallery is an open source one developed by Christopher Einarsrud. You can see the homepage here (http://www.no3dfx.com/polaroid/).
He's included the necessary files, including the source .fla, and released them under Creative Commons Noncommercial. So, you're free to edit the source however you see fit.
According to his site, the little documentation for the code is in Norwegian, so you might want to be up on some ActionScript before diving into it. I haven't taken a look at the code so I can't comment on it.
If it's just about changing the visuals, I imagine it can't be that diffucult, though you'll have to think about where to put captions/etc (if you want them). To edit the .fla, you'll need a version of Adobe Flash. You can get a 30-day free trial fo Flash CS3 from Adobe.com.

I'll see if I brush up on my flash/ actionscript. However I did not want to spend too much time tweaking.
I would still like to know if there are any alternatives with the same functions (pictures scattered around, draggable and then maximize on click.). I don't mind buying a template either but I like to explore my free options first.
Also if there is a gallery like this that is not flash based I would like that too.
