Anchor colour after visit

Hi there

I have added anchors on my webpages that take a visitor to various places on that page, to save them scrolling down. However, these links come up as purple, as if they have already been visited. I have tried various things in CSS to stop this. eg:
.anchor a:visited{ color: #410EC2;}

..but with no luck. Can anyone help?

Is the class of the link that you are trying to keep from changing named anchor? If not, add that class name to the links or simply take of the .anchor part of the css.
