DD Tab Menu - submenu won't show

3) Describe problem: I can't get the submenu to work for Example #4. I provided a link to a test sample. Would someone take a look?

Your page is missing the initialization code that should go in the HEAD of your page. In other words, the line:

ddtabmenu.definemenu("ddtabs4", 0)

The code in red should correspond to the ID of your tab menu (UL), which is also missing from your page (the ID attribute that is).
