Forum Integration

I want to Integrate either a smf or phpbb forum with my site.
just the member Integration, so when a member logs in or registers on my site they will automaticly be loged in or registered on the forum.
it's a video sharing site (youtube clone) but it comes with no forum.

anyone know of a tutorial or script that I can pickup and see if I can do this ?

Search the respective support forums of phpBB (http://www.phpbb.com/support/forums/) and SMF (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/) for solutions to this. You'll find a lot of resources/aid there. From experience, SMF is easier to integrate but this can be done with phpBB as well.
