View Full Version : Form target issue

I am building a site for a realtor that uses her main office's website to show listings. Our form submits to their site and displays the results from their site on a new pg. I don't want users to lose her page though so I would like the results pg to display under a header with her info. Thought maybe I could use frames to throw her header on top, display results pg below. Is there a way to do that. I don't want any of her normal pages in frames though (aside from not liking frames the page design would not work) so the form would need to open new page w/frames and place results in target frame onsubmit. Make sense? Thanks!

You could have it sent to a page with frames just by linking it to the doc with the frameset coding in it. To get out of the frames through a basic link, I believe you can just throw the code target="_top" into the href code. That should work. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong cuz I'm sure I'll end up running into the same problem later on.
