2) Script URL (on DD):
3) Describe problem:

Is it possible to have the text description that pops up when a drop down option is selected, be accompanied by a image as well?

Yes it very well is.
Where ever you put the text the is there on event, is where you should put the image tag.
Hope this Helps,

I appreciate your help but I still am not absolutely sure...

so I would add <img src="http://www.example.com/image.jpg"> to the array?

could you include an example from the original script?

Just add the img tag, just like your hand coding it in your markups ;)

thetext1[0]="<img src='http://www.lettucenodes.com/images/lettucnodes1.jpg' alt='myimage'>Comprehensive JavaScript tutorials and over 400+ free scripts"
thetext1[1]="<img src='http://www.freewarejava.com/applets/images/reallens.gif' alt='myimage'>Direct link to hundreds of free Java applets online!"
thetext1[2]="<img src='http://blog.wired.com/photos/uncategorized/fakesteve.jpg' alt='myimage'>Up to date news on the technology front"
thetext1[3]="<img src='http://www.september11news.com/Dec11ZacariasMoussaoui.jpg' alt='myimage' >News.com- The #1 technology News site."
thetext1[4]="<img src='http://codingforums.com/img/logo.gif' alt='myimage'>Web Coding and development forums"

You might also find it useful to set how your image will be rendered in the CSS...

See if it helps ;)

Thank you again for your help, that works beautifully. BUT :) Now is it possible to have the image that pops up with the description appear somewhere else on the page, that's not directly below the drop down menu?

For instance, if I had 3 vertical columns on a page...
left--drop down menus
center--website content, etc etc
right--image popup with description from drop down selections in left column

Or maybe it would be easier to target them to an iframe?

Maybe I'm asking too much? lol

Thanks again.

Yes, both are possible, but then it's another story..not relating to the thread...maybe if you could create a new one :)

...And also, decide which one you want, the iframe or the div....;)
