Translucent slideshow script

I like this script it could be usefull , but i was wondering is there a way i can enable my visitors to start and stop the slide show?

When using this script i have placed it into an external js file and call it like this

Also if possible id like any new code to be placed into the external js file as im trying to keep my page sizes to a minimum.

For #1, there's no quick way to do this unfortunately. You may wish to look at Swiss Army Slideshow (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/swissarmy/index.htm) if this is important to you.

For #2, you can infact just drop the entire script into a blank text file (minus the surrounding <script></script> tags) and save it as translucentslide.js Then reference it like you've done above on your page where you wish the slideshow to appear.
