Multiple browser windows open with popup in Dreamweaver

I am working on a website where I want a small popup window to load as the site loads. I am using Dreamweaver CS3 and have used the "Open Browser Window" behaviour with the onLoad attribute. The problem I am having is that it does indeed open the window, but it keep opening many multiple windows of the same thing. I just want one window to open on loading. Pop-up windows are no matter how legitimate they may be completely obnoxious and for such a reason are anti-design. Find another way to achieve your goal.
