drop down menu

I am looking for a horizontal drop down menu that does not drop down in rows; example:

MAIN LINK
link1
link2
link3

I would like the drop down to perform like the example below:

MAIN LINK
link 1 link 2 link 3 link 4

Can anyone point me to where I may find such a script?

Perhaps this DynamicDrive script (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/tabmouseover.htm)? It may take a few modifications, though.
