Hi All
Is there such a thing as a javascript (Hack safe) guest book script,
I've read that your site is at risk with these, is this so ?
I have seen loads of php scripts but have no knowledge of this language,

anyone out there use remote guest book sites, and how good are they,
my other thought would be to use a blog, as linking to this would be easier

any thoughts would be appreciated.

I've never seen any guestbook scripts made completely with javascript and the concept of this would never work right (mostly because you need to save the guestbook entries somehow and javascript cannot do this). I've seen several remotely hosted ones and I've personally used html gear (http://htmlgear.lycos.com/) when I first started making websites and they are pretty decent (as far as a free one goes).

Hope this helps.

Thanks that clears that up for me,

Steve.

And by the way, "hack proof" is kinda a weird phrase. Hacking is a way of getting around any system, so nothing is really hack proof. It's just more or less secure.

Steve, I used this site for a free guestbook. It is customizable, free and has some good features... like smilies and such. :>)
