Script: Cool DHTML Tooltips II

First, thanks for the great scripts.

This script indicates compatibility with Firefox but doesn't seem to work with that browser. It works perfectly in IE. Comments?

What's the error/ problem? The script works in FF 1.04 for me, at least the demo page.

Thanks for the reply.

It worked fine for me in the demo, too. However, when entered into the page code and published, it doesn't although it works fine in IE (this leads me to assume that the script is installed and customized properly. However, here is the url: http://www.inu.com

It isn't a big issue. Many of the visitors to this site are not inclined to use anything new, anyway. An amazing number of site visitors are still coming in at 800X600, for example. Using a new browser is not likely to be high on their priority lists.

Just because IE is forgiving of certain coding errors, do not assume that:

Go back to the demo page and pay close attention as to which part of the script belongs in the head and which part belongs in the body of the document. You have moved sections belonging in the body to the head. IE will obviously forgive this in this instance but, FF will not. You are writing body elements into the head of the document. FF will not look there for them there. It will find them in the body though, if they are there.

Problem solved. Thanks

I am certain that I placed the code properly to begin with. I follow directions well. However, it was clearly in the wrong place .. perhaps I'll just blame it on the dog.
