RAME scroller
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/iframe-scroller.htm
Mac OSX Jaguar 2.8 Netscape 7.2, IE 5.2, Safari, Firefox1.02, OmniWeb5.1
Seems that it does work in only IE. I can bring up my page in all browsers from my HD but from the server it chokes in Netscape 7.2 and other browsers an puts up a dialog box asking me what to do with it.
This the message: "the file "external.htm" is of type application/x-httpd-php (HyperText) and Netscape does not know to handle this file type."
Now I have tried the entire set up 3 times having downloaded a new copy each time. I am wondering if it is the way the path to the external file is set up. ( var iframesrc="external.htm" ) since the page this is on is a index.php.
Is there a way to call the external file using a php include since my server
has virtual directory support disabled. I use a fairly large amount of php scripts from a global directory an have no problems doing include or require.
Since I am a adult and mainstream Webmaster I prefer not to post the URL in the forum, but if you contact me with a private message I will be happy to provide it, if it will help in solving this problem.
Thank you in Advance
