draw a triangle in Flash CS3 without having to start with drawing rectangle

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to draw a triangle in Flash CS3 without having to start with drawing rectangle (and then delete one corner)?

I have heard there is a way to do it but how?

The rectangle method is the best I have found, ensures you have nice edges. You can also use the line tool, or oval tool (if you want rounded wedges) etc.

You can also use the pencil tool, as Flash has shape recognition built in. Make sure the option is set for straight lines and draw a triangle with the pencil. Flash will clean it up and make it all straight. It's not perfect but with some practice can be useful.
