upload/download capability

hello,

I'm new to this site, so please forgive me if this question has been asked before.

I want to add a feature on my website so clients can upload and download files (PDFs, Tiffs, EPS etc.). I have seen it done, but totally stumped as to how to go about adding this element to my site.

this is the one I use ( http://www.perlservices.net/en/programs/psupload/)

The resulting code is a bit off (uses tables) but it works really well. And is easy to customize.
