Sounds like the paths to the .css file references in the HEAD section of your page are incorrect:

<!-- CSS for Tab Menu #1 -->
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="ddtabmenufiles/ddtabmenu.css" />

<!-- CSS for Tab Menu #2 -->
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="ddtabmenufiles/glowtabs.css" />

<!-- CSS for Tab Menu #3 -->
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="ddtabmenufiles/solidblocksmenu.css" />

<!-- CSS for Tab Menu #4 -->
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="ddtabmenufiles/ddcolortabs.css" />

<!-- CSS for Tab Menu #5 -->
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="ddtabmenufiles/chromemenu.css" />

Make sure the paths point to the .css files on your server.

Here is my modified script. I havent published the files yet....I have kept the .js & .css files in the main folder and also renamed the files. I wish to use the glowtab menu. I dont understand where I'm going wrong....

Sorry to be such a headache....but I'm dying to use this functionality on my wepage.....

Thanks....

It's hard to get a complete picture just by the above, but a few things.

1) Make sure the paths to the .js and .css files in the HEAD of your page are correct. Right now, I see they are just "glowtabs.js" and "glowtabs.css". This means these two files exist in the same directory as where your webpage is, right?

2) Your guestbook link references the drop down menu "dropmenu2", yet you haven't defined this drop down DIV yet on your page (like you have with "dropmenu1".

MuzicAngel,

Is that coding exactly how it appears on your webpage? Or did you make it shorter to post on here?

If it's the original, you don't have a closing <head> tag. That could be cause of your problems.

Insert </head> before <body>

Hi,

I modified the source of dropdowntabsdemo.htm instead of creating a new web page with script....the Glowtabs are now working as desired....thanks to both of you for being so patient and helpful.

A request....
If you can modify the instructions given at Drop Down Tabs (5 Styles) (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/droptabmenu.htm) to include the script reference for .js and .css files, it will surely save you the trouble of replying the many threads related to this script (& also the headache...as jerks like me, cant do more than copy and paste things :))

dynamicdrive is simply....DYNAMIC!!!
