Slideshow Left - Text on Right

Is there an easy way to have a slide show on the left side of the screen and text on the right side? Do I have to use frames?

I am relatively new to website design. Thanks.

You could use frames, iframes, a table or float(s).

You should save this as a new html file, so that when you call it should be
<frame src="newfile.htm"> instead. :D
