3) Describe problem: I'm not really having a problem with the code per se, but I was wondering if there's additional code to have an image placeholder (i.e. an image in the empty spot where the enlarged images will eventually load, and that will disappear once a thumbnail is clicked).

I just feel like it looks too empty prior to clicking on the thumbnails to view images. Any suggestions?

In fact, you can put text, links, images - anything you want in there. Once the user starts activating the script, whatever is there will be overwritten.
