1) Script Title: Anylink Vertical Menu

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/anylinkvertical.htm

3) Describe problem:
I am trying to use the vertical menu in a table with the onclick on each cell of the table. The table is set to be 100% wide so it fills the page left to right, and has dynamic columns so the table width can require the user to scroll the browser to the right to see the far right of the table.

Everything works great with the menu except I have some rows that have a colspan that fills every column in the row, which means there is only one cell for that row. In this case when the menu appears, it is outside the far left of the table and off the screen. If the user had scrolled the browser to the far right of the table, it appears at the same place, out of sight.

I'm guessing what is needed is some kind of check here and then the menu positioned at the mouse click's x location instead of the cell's left border.

Any guesses on how to make the changes?
Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks for the quick reply but it's an Intranet site so I can't really post it. In the meantime, I searched through your other scripts and the Pop-it menu (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/popit.htm) does work fine because it's based on the mouse pointer location. Thanks for your excellent scripts!
