Hi Guys,

I have attached a monitor to my laptop in order to help mewith web design. My problem is that my laptop is wide screen while the external moniyor is standard.

As soon as I plug in the external, the wide screen monitor takes on all the attributes of it.

I would like to program with the LapTop and be able to see simultaniously how the site looks both on the Wide Screen and standard.

At the moment, I have to copy the site to an external disc and download to another machine to view how the site looks on the differant screen resolution

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Paul

You could set the monitor up as a "extended monitor" and just drag your windows to the next screen. You could also put different resolutions for the 2 monitors.

And Merry Christmas. :)
