1) Script Title: AnyLink CSS Vertical Menu

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/anylinkcss2.htm

3) Describe problem:

The menu pops out as it's intended just fine, but it disappears if you roll over the first menu item if you're too high on that link.

The location of my example is http://www.hoosierhoopsreport.com/index2.php.

It's fine in FF and Opera, but your styles aren't being used in IE, if they were, it would work out there too. You could add this (red):

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
<title>Hoosier Hoops Report - Featuring Indiana High School Basketball</title>
<base href="http://www.hoosierhoopsreport.com/" />
<style type="text/css">

/* Sample CSS definition for the example list. Remove if desired */
.navlist li {
width: 135px;
background-color: #FFFFB9;
padding-bottom: 2px;
}
</style>
<!--[if IE]>
<style type="text/css">
#navigation a {
display:expression('block');
position:expression('absolute');
width:auto;
}
#navigation div {
width:expression(this.getElementsByTagName('a')[0].offsetWidth+'px');
}
</style>
<![endif]-->

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/

To get IE (at least IE 7 & 6, probably 5.5 as well) to go along with the styles you have set, or you could rethink them entirely. The key here is to remove the space between the trigger and the drop down.
