Customizing, what possibilities are there? can I apply sticky, fade in & out. Am I limited to the CSS code provided by D.Drive?

First of all, welcome to the forums.

you can create a fade in / out, however it would require javascript, so in that sense you are limited to css for the script you are working with. John (jscheur) made a couple of really nice image slide shows with fading, take a look through those and let us know if you find one that you like and need help
