Time sure flies! We know Xmas is coming very soon by all the decorations around. I have received lots of Xmas flash e-card from friends last year. How absorbing they are! So I just think how about that I create a Xmas flash e-card for sending to my good friends this Xmas.
Please help me. :confused::confused::confused:

Depends on what you want it to do. Making something like this is all design, in nature. You think it, draw it, animate it, send it.
If you are having problems with a specific part or need help with some code then we can help with that. But we need more to go on than what you posted.
Otherwise you can google Flash e-cards and find some ready made ones online and send those. Blue Mountain may still do them, as well as others.
First I would check out Tufat (http://tufat.com/s_flash_greeting_card_creator.htm) and have a look at their $5 card template.

I want to create a flash e-card with my photos, music, decorations, effect etc.
I need a EXE or SWF file but not a link.
But I don't know flash skills.
It is a very difficult thing for me.
Are there any small tool very easy-to-use?

Many people included me think that making flash things is a very difficult thing for those who don’t know flash skills, but I should say this is not the case after tried some flash software.
After using it for several days, I found Flash Slideshow Builde is really easy-to-use and has all the functions I need. Fortunately, I got a big discount from its Xmas sales promotion.
Thank you, jimseo.

Congrats Sunny.
May I just say though, that Flash, just like any other language/program is going to take some learning, but if you are willing to sit for a few days and learn it to a very basic level you will save TONS of money, and not by Christmas discounts ;)
Building everything yourself is far better on the pocket book ;)
There are tons of tutorials for learning Flash (a few I need to finish up to post here) all over the web, and there are forums (like this one) where you can get help if you get stuck with a certain aspect of your creation.

Start out by deciding what your main focus in Flash will be. You do NOT have to stick to only this method, but it will give you a direction for your studies. You want to build games? or funny cartoons? or computer programs/applications?
Then head over to CartoonSmart (http://cartoonsmart.com) and find the "free" section, there are some wonderous free video tutorials for you to start with. They cover everything from basic Action Script to animation to drawing.
After you have a better grasp from there, you can browse Justin's other areas for more in depth, and detailed tutorials (which are not free, but worth every cent).
Other great sites to bookmark and frequent are:
Flash Kit (http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/) for tons and tons of tutorials in anything you could want.
gotoAndLearn (http://gotoandlearn.com) an amazing library of video tutorials.
Those are the main three, then of course figure out what it is you are currently trying to do and hit google and search "Flash {your keywords here}"
Like if you wanted preloaders search Flash preloader" or "Flash move boxes on click"
There are tons of sites with smaller libraries or specific tutorials that you can find that way.
Then once you have a better grasp of things, head to local book stores and look for Action Script bibles, and other Flash books (usually around 40 to 50 USD) and get some great info that way.
If your interest turns to games, then my suggestion is the exact same as above, EXCEPT, the first thing you should do is build a Pong style game, before you do anything else. Pong covers almost every basic aspect of game building. Yes there are 40 billion Pong games out there, but this is why, they are great teachers and you have something to show for it.

reading this post made me remember I also once sought to send all my friends e-cards made by me. I am also a rookie in flash, but I can make something, the real problem is, how to embed it into an email so the reciever will see it right away, without clicking some links first. Somehow I doubt this is possible on all email account providers, but if anyone knows how, let me know :_)
Thanks guys and Happy new year !

Not really. One work around is to make the Flash an HTML page, upload it to a server, and through the browser choose "Send Page" But that really doesn't do anything.
For info on Flash and Email click here (http://www.campaignmonitor.com/blog/archives/2006/01/the_truth_about_1.html)
