I'm wondering if it is possible to get the main link to remain highlighted when the drop down menu is displayed and the cursor is on the drop down box. I don't like the way it returns to normal when I'm using the drop down box.

I know the issue and fixed it with a local version.

First, they use CSS to define the rollover, so it will go off by default. You need to use JS instead.

Second, they overwrite the onmouseover and onmouseout functions. Anyone know a way to get in touch with the author so I can submit a patch for this fix?
